Rider Steel is one of the leading steel manufacturers in Ghana. They had committed to improve their environmental footprint while limiting the high upfront capital expenditure from solar power plants.

Solution

We installed a 1.1MW solar plant, which powers 19% of the load during 8am to 6pm. The factory is benefitting from the solar plant without having invested in the upfront capital.
